birth cert

i have got a full birth cert for my grandfather name victor ellis father theodore ellis mother alice ellis theodore name was theodore kuhl so the parents were not married but my brother found that he had a short cert on which victor is now victor ellis kuhl entry no 388 register book no 100 this is not the same as the full cert

Sometimes they would be registered under both names if the parents weren't married but there doesn't appear to be one in the name Victor Ellis Kuhl.

Did they eventually marry?

Found the marriage

Marriages Mar 1913 (>99%)

Kuhl Theodor V Ellis Pancras 1b 216
Ellis Dorothy M Kuhl Pancras 1b 216

Maybe they had the name changed after they married.

on alice death cert she is alice hester maria kuhl but cant find marriage at all we do know that theodore marrige her sister dorothy maria ellis in 1913 alice died in 1907

What are the dates on the short cert? Does it say when it was issued?

This must be the cert. that you have:

Births Mar 1903
ELLIS Victor Pancras 1b 109

did not get back sonner but had to be at work early
the date on the short cert born on the 24 dec 1902 wlitness on the 4 feb 1903 the same as the full cert
