Hi Betty, gran says she was born in the Gorbals - I know they lived in Baird Street in Townhead by the time she had my mum. She was born in 1918 (turned 90 in September there). Her mother was Margaret McInnes who married a James Farry and then (I think) a Bernard Lennon (widower of Alice Collins). It is a bit strange since I can't find her brother Jimmy (James) Farry birth either although I can find his death! There's a mystery to be uncovered....................

Hi Eva,

When was your gran born in Scotland and do you know where in Scotland she was born, also her full maiden name?
Did you use this website www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/
