Hi, Can anyone give me any info on where to obtain Royal Navy service Records

what period of time?, if its from 1924 there are none on line.
These records are still held by the Royal Navy, but NOK/ relations can apply for them.But prior to 1972 all service records were given to the person on their discharge.This is fact i have all my fathers records, but the Navy have retained certain info.

Prior to 1924 these records are at the National Archives, not sure if they can be viewed online though.

Seamans service records for those joing the Navy up to 1923 are available for download (it costs £3-50) on the documentsonline website - you can access it via the Na tional Archives site.
