	Have you made contact with the Ancestry tree owners. They may have information they do not wish to put on trees.

What I need to know is if the other children I mentioned actually belinged to this couple too. I realise they aren't necessarily on the censuses with the family but that's why I think they probably died in infancy. I need parish reg confirmation if anyone is willing? Thanks anyway CC

Member Since: April 2005 Posts: 109 Send Message	Hi, would anyone be kind enough to do a look-up for some very unusually named children for me, born in Totnes? I'm miles away in Sussex and never get to the NA. The family is MCBRIDE, parents FRANCIS and MARYANNE/MARIANNE (neé MUGFORD), married 1845. They were my husband's gr-gr-granparents via their son, the curiously but wonderfully named ADELBERT UBERTO MCBRIDE, born 1859. What I need to verify are the names of their other children. From on-line research I have lots of names that seem likely to be their children, many of them equally extraordinary, but I'd like to be sure which ones belonged to them via the parish regs. The other possible children were: RICHARD MUGFORD MCBRIDE born 1844 (seems obviously theirs from his middle name and probably born before their marriage) IMOGENE ERMANGARDE born 1846 ISABELLA 1848 PRISCILLA 1851 WILLIAM JOHN 1853 SIGISMUND CERTALDO 1855 Then the aforementioned ADELBERT UBERTO 1859, who is definitelt their son. FRANCIS EDWARD 1862 EVA DORA 1864 LUDIVICIO ALONZO 1867 I think some of them died in infancy. Why they gave them such amazing names is a mystery I'd really love to solve as the family seems to be plain old Devon/Ireland stock back several generations and otherwise full of the usual Marys, Johns, Sarahs and Williams!
