Just to say, there will definitely have been a Royton Road at some time, it is a nearby suburn of Oldham. Somebody must know it.

You can find the road by trawling through the census records for that area. Find anybody in Oldham, click on the image, and then at the top you can choose the various registration districts to trawl through. It is a painful process!

On the 1911 census you can pick a particular address to search.

I believe it is possible on one or two other censuses but never tried it.

Royton Lane (1894) changes to Middleton Rd (1910). It's in Royton and leads to Chadderton via Haggate

Hello LD

I should have put the date in I was searching 1864. It was probably in Chadderton Oldham.

I would have liked to know if it is still standing.

Thank you for your reply.

Hello

Could anyone tell me if Royton Road Oldham is still standing please. If not where about was it?

Also, is it possible to find the address on a census without a name of occupants.

Thank you Shirley
