Sorry, not sure where ellen was born yet,
in the 1871 census jonas was 27, ellen was 26 and they had 2 children called alice and joesph.The registration district is oldham.

Can you put up the info for the 1871 census

There are 2 Jonas on the 1871 with wives called Ellen, but neither Ellen was born in Lancashire

Can anyone find Jonas woodhead and his wife Ellen Greaves born abt 1843 in lancaster on pre 1871 census. I'm trying to find out parents and siblings etc. They married in 1864.
