the best reason for keeping the old thread is that it has on it all the work that has been done so far, and means that people looking to help you with the next bit of your enquiry won't be sidetracked into repeating the work that has been done!

Adding "Still Looking" to the original header as Claire has suggested is also a good idea because it tells us immediately that there is something still needing to be done without having to open the thread and read all the way through!

I would also add to the title on the old thread "Still Looking"

Just add something - anything - by way of reply.......as you have just done.

You will see that the thread is now at the top of the board

Please don't start a new thread about the same topic - you will upset the people who helped you on the original one.................

Hi Lindsay,

You can either start a new thread to get help with what you are looking for or you can click on My Thread under Tools on green bit at the left of your screen and up will come your previous thread.

You can then just add to it if you are trying to get more information.

Click on "My threads" on the left and your original query should be listed.

Open the thread then click on "Reply" to add your extra request.
