why is there no 1881 census records

1881 census records are available for free on www.familysearch.org ...... transcript only


or on www.ancestry.uk.co .................. where you can look at the image. I THINK it is also free on there.



If you mean on here ............ remember that GR only directs you to other sites to access records, so presumably they haven't got permission to access the 1881!

You can find it for free on familysearch.org. It is a transcription rather than the original image but very useful all the same.
