does anyone know how to find information of someone who died whilst in RAF in 1950? He was serving in Australia and killed in car accident. I am trying to trace any living relatives.

Hi Sally,

You can apply for the records of a deceased RAF serviceman, but you have to show that you are the nearest living relative before they will release them. I am in the process of applying for my uncle's records now.

If you go onto this site, it tells you where to apply and you can download the form. Good luck.
