I am wondering if anyone can please point me in the right direction of how to search for information regarding Candadian relatives who were found on the census of 1916 and were still alive in 1957. I am thinking of possible marriages and dates of death as they would be deceased by now.

Any ideas gratefully received. Will be back this evening. Thanks.

Many thanks Annie and Margaret.

I take it that the folk in Canada are more 'canny' when releasing their bmd's!!

Margaret, you helped me a lot last year with the beginning of the story of the people I am looking for, and now I am almost at the end...............hey ho.

Thank you both for your time - I will have to be patient.

You didn't say which of the 3 provinces where you found them in 1916. A gateway to all the provincial BMDs is:

Thank you mgnv. Ontario and Manitoba - one is actually a place I've never heard of before - Portage la prairie!! As all were still alive in 1957 when their parents died, I need info from then on. I think they would have all died by 1999 or they would be very ancient indeed!

Thanks again.
