Does anyone know why on Ancestry they don't have a birth index which you can search, they only have births 1837-1915 transcribed by FreeBMD, Births 1916-2005 transcribed..
I know they used to have this service..

These
births 1837-1915 transcribed by FreeBMD, Births 1916-2005 transcribed..
are backed up by images until 1983.
So you search very much the same as before.
Give me a name and date and I will talk you through it.
