Presumably there's no other Lamports at the same address.

Have you tried to find an obituary in the local newspaper?

As I don't think you live in Oz - the local family history association maybe able to help you out.

Maureen Report 20 Mar 2009 22:47

I have managed to trace my Fathers brother William George Lamport who left London aged 15 years old on the SS Beltana he arrived in Sydney Australia in Oct 1928 he was one of the Dreadnought boys.I have managed to trace him to 1995 he was living in Horsley Park NSW 2165 he dosn't appear after the Aug 1995 electoral roll he would have been 82 years old so he may well have died, any ideas how I could find out if he died in 1995 ,I was doing this research for my Dad ,sadly Dad died seven months ago before I managed to get any info on his brother I would just like to know if William died ,I cannot find if he had any family in Australia.
Any info gratefully received thank you
