Well I can't see the answer because it's been deleted but to insert an image it must be in an image format, .jpg or .tif or some other graphic format, not a word document for example.

Hi Ninjal Lady,

That could be it, I've just looked at the document and it's saved as 'Firefox Document'

Many thanks for your help.

I'll now try changing it to .jpeg.........hope I haven't forgotten how to!

Sorry Helen,

I don't subscribe to FMP, only Ancestry uk. My question is concerning FTM, not FMP.

All these acronyms lol ..........are they to confuse us?

Hi all,

Wonder if anyone can adviise where I'm going wrong? When trying to upload a document to scrapbook on FTM, I get the message "The file you have selected is not a supported picture type. Please select another file." I have, in the past, been able to upload documents, scanned images, etc without a problem. So feel it's me doing something, not FTM.

Any helpful suggestions much appreciated.

Thank you
