Please could somebody find a Thomas Plested on the 1841 census. Probably living in St Marylebone.

I have the marriage cert of Henry Plested August 31 1845 to Elizabeth Plunkett. Father was Thomas Plested, Wine Cooper. Marriage was at St Mary's, Marylebone.

One of the witnesses was Sarah Plested, who I think was the mother of Henry.

On the 1851 they are

Henry Plested, head, marr, 28, Wine Porter Marylebone
Elizabeth, Plested, wife, marr, 27, Norwich
Emma, Plested, daur, 3, Marylebone
Henry, Plested, son, 1m, do
Sarah Wiltshire, Mother, w, 53, Nurse, Rotherhithe

Sarah must have remarried but I cannot trace the Marriage.

I also have the marriage cert of Thomas Plested to Jane Sarah Green on 25 Dec 1841 both full age, and bachelor and spinster at the same church in Marylebone. One of the witnesses is Thos Plested, son. Is it possible that this Thomas is in fact the father and not the son? The former Thomas could then be a brother to Henry.

If somebody could find any of these on the 1841 it would be appreciated, as I have been unable to trace them.

Regards

David

Thanks for your replies, folks, I will look at those later.

I did have the father, Thomas but not the sister, Sarah. And the 1841 is interesting.

Would Dsanna be Diana? I have not found anything about her, or could it be Sarah?

I see that they give exact ages, but I thought on the 1841 they rounded them to the nearest 5 years?

David, not all enumerators followed the rules of rounding down ages on the 41 census. This one evidently didn't.
I've looked at the original, not sure about the Dsanna one. It's definitely not Sarah, could be Dianna but he hasn't dotted the i. Possibly Hanna?
It says that Thomas & Sarah were not born in county.
