Irish parishes in 1800's. Looking for a area in Do

I have a irish ancester Annie Sarah Tootle nee Porter and it was always rumoured she was born in Cork. On all the English census' 1871-1901 it just stated born Ireland with no area listed at all. Now when i accessed the 1911 census Annie was listed as being born in Tillgrap in Donegal Ireland. I know there is a town Donegal and also a county of Donegael. Looking under the areas in Donegal i couldnt find Tillgrap. I am now assuming that it has been spelt badly wrong or misheard but i really want to try and trace her line in Ireland, dont have a clue were to start. I will need to know a area to start looking and that means solving the riddle of what Tillgrap is. I have the record and if great person wishes to help, i can email them a copy of the census return.
Any Help will be really very much appreciated.
Thanks Sonya

Thanks everyone for your info.
Thanks Maura, Thats a really good lead as its got both Donegal and a poss alternative to Tillgrap. The g could def be a Y but it is def a i but with her accent etc it def could have been wrote down wrong. I have all her census records in England as they lived in Chorley and then Blackburn. Hoping to find a birth or baptism record. Will have a look at the link.
Thanks again

Hi Eringobragh
I have everything on the Tootles they lived in chorley until abt 1891 and then moved to Blackburn you will struggle to find them on census due to the amount of spelling mistakes that seem to crop up. But i have all details on each Tootle census. They were down as Tootell when they lived in Chorley. Im trying to find all the details on the Porters. All i know is that Annie was born in Ireland abt 1863 and had a sister called Esther who was born abt 1854 . Esther s area was never know, just Ireland. Esther died at 28 so cant look any more there. Not even sure on religion as Annie married C of E but Esther married Catholic. On both marriages thier father was listed as Robert Porter. That is all that i know.
Thanks for your replys

Thanks for that. Yeh i found that, its has great info for Chorley. There must be 2 lots of marriages for Tootle/ Porter as they only had 9 children and the last few kids were born in Blackburn. They moved to Blackburn after Lilys birth, thier next child Colin was born only a year after Lily and in Blackburn.
I appreciate the effort everyones putting in.
Thankyou everyone! x
