I'm rrying to find the wife of Charles William Pelham but on the following BMD info I can't find her.

I've tried to follow the BMD instructions when only one spouse can be found but I keep going round in circles

I've checked the 1901 census & I'm happy that Edward Cowee was married to Florence Harmes

Her name was Annie

Could someone please advise me what to do from here

Possibility, 1891:
Annie Gray abt 1874 Stockton, Yorkshire, England Servant St Mary Bishopshill Junior, Yorkshire

I couldn't find any of the other surnames born Stockton. The best way to know for sure is to buy one of the children's birth certs.

The 4 in 545 is a bit iffy when you look at the image.

She's still just Annie and born Stockton, Wiltshire in 1911.

Looking on earlier censuses, I don't see any matches.

Annie Flowers is quite clearly 546. She was the one I thought might be her as the numbers were so close.

When you enlarge Annie Gray's image, it also is clearly 535, but it could've easily been a slip of the finger on the typewriter by the registration office clerk.

I am also trying to find an Ann, Anne, Annie Pelham from the Woking Surrey area who married my Grandfather Fred Mitchell in 1898?
have you found out anymore about her?
Could it possibly be that she is either the Child of your Annie Pelham.
Or could she have been married to your Charles Pelham and he died, so that she remarried my Fred Mitchell?
if you have any info that could help I would be grateful as I seem to be coming up blank in tracing leads?
