I spent a bit of time at the library and took the following information from the OPRs – it might be useful to someone.
Charles Potter & Christian Whitlaw:

Kirkliston “1800 16 May Charles Potter & Christian Whitelaws both in this Parish gave up their names for proclamation”
children:
1. Kirkliston 1801 “Charles Potter & Christian Whitlaw had a Dau. Born May 20th Bat. 31st N. Margaret Wit. Jas Martin & David Hill”
2. Kirkliston 1803 “POTTER Janet daughter to Charles Potter and Christian Whitlaw born 16th Feby. And baptised 27th”
3. Kirkliston (year?) “POTTER Charles Potter and Christian Whitelaw his spouse had a child born Jany. 28th & bap. Feby. 14th named John Witnesses Congregation”
4. Kirkliston 1811 POTTER Charles Potter and Christian Whitelaw had a child born March the 28th and bap. April the 7th 1811 named James Stewart Potter Wit. The congregation”
