I spent a bit of time at the library and took the following information from the OPRs – it might be useful to someone.
James Potter & Helen Bird:

Kirkliston “1803 26 Nov. James Potter and Helen Bird both of this Parish gave up their names for Proclamation on purpose for marriage”
child:
1. Kirkliston 1812 “POTTER James Potter and Helen Bird his spouse had a child born Augt. The 5th and bap. The 16th 1812 Named Alexander Wit Alexr. ?? and Henry Bird

Unfortunately, it was difficult to read.
