Could someone please tell me what a Friendly Society is? I have found an ancestor on the 1911 census who's occupation is "Royal Liverpool Friendly Society Agent". |

Thank you for that BS. Unfortunately I'm in Australia and the WDYTYA magazine hasn't reached our shores yet. I'm getting a bit of background to the Friendly Society and I do appreciate your information. I will google it and see what else I can find. Thanks again. |
