I'm rubbish at deciphering some writing. Can someone look at the record on ancestry for Daniel Archer age 79 who died June 11th 1916. I can't make out the "whence admitted" I've got Whitechapel but can't figure the second word.

Thanks

I think it is Whitechapel Place, it looks similar to the Gateshead Place on the second line from the top

I have looked a couple of pages prior to that and the first letter of the word is I think H (it is the same as the second H in White Horse) might then be House or possibly Halls? tricky one!

Thanks Linda and Rose.

I think it may be Hall. Whitechapel Road has Vallance Road coming off it and Vallance Road was the location of the Whitechapel workhouse which I believe was where he was living in 1911.
