1900's Missing Person

Does anyone have any suggestions for searching criminal records of long ago? STS England would have been the area. This lady just vanished and was never heard from again. She is in the 1901 C working as a domestic in a private home. This act was not intentional. I don't seem able to locate any old newspapers for this area. (Shenstone, Stonnall, Shire Oak). Regards.

Hi Marlene, do you have her name or date of birth?

Do you mean her going missing was not intentional? Sorry I can't quiet get what you are saying? Do you mean she went missing and there was an investigation into the matter?
