There is also the NBI, accessible on Find My Past I think, but I have copy. Give me the details and I will have a look for you. Name, date of death, likiley area.

Pauline, if it is a municipal cemetery, most will do a quick search for you for free. Two local cemetries in my area have been starts in finding graves.

Even if a local church, you might find they will still have a look for a couple of graves with no charge. I sent a donation to one to thank them.

I'd start with the nearest cemetery to the address on the death certificate. Most local council cemetery departments have burials on computer now and with a name and date of death they should be able to check to see if the person was buried in their cemetery.

Is it possible that she is buried in a churchyard? It may be worth seeing if there is a graveyard attached to the church she attended, if she did attend one and you know which it is.

Or, some municipal cemeteries will do a search for you but I think they are the ones that charge a fee. Have you got any ideas about what location you're after?

Can anyone tell me how to find where a family member is buried. I have the death date 1913 for her but after that do not know where to start looking now.

I believe there is a web site to find but do not now the link and if there is a fee.
Many Thanks in advance
