Have very little information on my grandfather. We know an approximate date of birth (1910-16), where he originated from (Hull/East Riding) and where he worked when he met my mums birth mother (Haltwhistle, Northumberland 1938-40) and heard he married ?Howden East Yorks. Have checked freebmd, yorkshirebmd, parish records for marriages, Beverley and are in process of applying for mums adoption file if still exists
Any ideas would be appreciated
