Can i find out about an ex house?

Depending on how old the property is there are Tithe Maps from about 1840 which shows who owned the land. These may also have details of buildings but I'm not sure how detailed the maps are with regard to buildings.

You'd find these maps at the county records office for the area.

Hi all, there is a barn on my father in laws farm that we believe used to be a house and we were wondering if it had had a name at some point in it's history. On the census our area was never done with any detail other than the village so we can't tell from that. We'd appreciate it if anyone knows how I might find out about the building.
