The local family history society for the area you are interested in is probably the best bet, most societies have local PR's transcribed and put onto a CD that you can buy.

The Lancashire Online Parish Clerks project has a lot of parish records online (google "lan-opc" for the adress), and there are others, e.g. the sussex weald.

There aren't many sites that have comprehensive coverage of parish records unfortunately.

As Joy says, you are probably best googling as some places have put their own records online.

I have had a membership to ancestry and found it great for BMD and Census records but am now to the point when i need parish records and of course Ancestry hasn't got many at the moment.
Can anyone advice me which is the best website to subscribe to?
