I`ve found Solicitors notices put in papers after peolple die stating if you have any claim on "John Browns" estate etc, it gives the date of death and the executors { often family members] and also there business notices of disolved partnerships { a lot of mine seemed to do that} and many Bancruptsy notices.....really all legal matters,

I got confirmation of a suspected sibling who i could find no marriage or birth/baptism records for....he was with his father {my 4xgr grandfather} and brother in a partnership called B Critchett and Sons......... oh happy days...... another piece of the puzzle in place.
