At the Flea fair today I bought a small bundle of addressed empty envelopes. If anyone is interested they can have them. They are addressed to
Mrs Sarah E Clayton
R D Clayton Esquire
Miss Hannah Clayton (2)
Between 1913 and 1925 Yorkshire and Durham

One of Hannah Clayton's comes from France.

Pity there is nothing in the envelopes.

I intend to also put this on Gen. board

Looked on search and there are two possibles so will now wait and see. Not very exciting being empty but at least they would let somebody know where they were in 1915 and 1925.

Well, I wrote to two, one is more likely than the other. The one i thought not so likely has replied straight back. the other who i am sure it is has read the message but so far not replied. Plenty of time as she may not be in UK. Maybe she thinks I will charge for them, I wont I intend giving them to whoever has a genuine claim.

Neither bothered to contact me so I guess they are not interested in building up anything more than a collection of names.
