help with medal card please

hi
i have located the medal card of james harry hogg on the national archives and i have downloaded it but it has a mainpage and 6 cards on one page . how can i isolate the one card that i want so i can add it to my tree.
any ideas anyone

Could you print it out, cut off the part you want and re-scan and save it that way?

That's what I would do, but then I'm not terribly computer literate!!

No, sorry, I can't think of a way, apart from print it out, like what has previously been said,. It was a long time ago since I did that.

If you download from the Ancestry website the image is saved as a jpg image file.

If you post his service number and regt I will get it and email it to you

Alternatively, if the file is a pdf file that you are viewing using Adobe acrobat reader, go to "Tools", "Select and Zoom", "Snapshot tool" and highlight the area you want to retain. This is automatically copied and can then be pasted into your favourite application for saving in a more user-friendly format
