Hi All

Can anyone tell me how to search for a relative (my gggrandfather) stated as being born c1860 Charlestone South Carolina USA British Subject ??? I have found that he was a mariner/watchman, stated on census records. Would love to find out how to search, I do have Ancestry World thingy, but don't really know how to use it.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Start here, if you find her you can check the result using more reliable sites....

When you log on to Ancestry.com click on the SEARCH button and scroll down the page and select Country, then County and it will list some of the records available...... but then click on where it says See all xxx records and an even bigger list will appear for you to search!
