The tree was eventually put on Ancestry...but it took 4 hours..

The load time will depend on the speed of your internet connection.

I loaded a file of over 10,000 names a few weeks ago. It only took a few minutes.

thanks for the reply...maybe I am uploading it wrong then ..but it is a big file ..but I still have the same message saying it's still uploading !! I presume it will come up with an error if it doesn't succeed

Hi can anyone help...

I have downloaded a Ged from Genes, which I am now trying to put onto Ancestry does anyone know how long this takes as I have message from the Ancestry page. which says We have received the family tree.We are processing your file now...Your tree will be available shortly. It also says 0% complete... I tried uploading Ged about 2 hours ago...

Any ideas?
