Hi Mark

There aren't any records on here. You just buy credits here and they just send you to sites that do have the record you want to see.

Because the 1881 was transcribed by the LDS, they have made it available free of charge and sites are not permitted to charge for it. So I suspect GR not earning from it will not hold it.

As for the 1911, Findmypast have the sole rights to it at the moment as they are transcribing it. Once complete I believe they have sole rights for a year, then other companies can purchase the images and have to transcribe them themselves.

Hi Mark, 1911 census records are only available to view at the following

http://www.1911census.co.uk/

1881 Census records are free to view at

FamilySearch.org, Ancestry and maybe a few other places too.

Maybe this is the reason that Genes feel that there is no need to put the 1881 Census on the site, not sure, i'm only a standard member.
