Hello,

I have a death certificate for somebody who died in 1907 in the Manchester area, but how would i find where he was buried? i have tried the burial record's online on the Manchester council page, but no luck!
Or if he was cremated? how would i find that out?

Thanks in advance,

Alison

Which area of Manchester was his death registered in,was it North or South Manchester ? This would give some idea as to which cemetery he might have been buried in.

It is just listed as Manchester, his death. He was living at 6 young street, Manchester at the time.
They did live more in the centre of Manchester, Deansgate area.

Alison,I would try the Salford Council area as a lot of mine lived near Deansgate and that is bordering ,and part of Salford.Have you looked up Young St to see where it is,or was? Also I have a lot of marriages in Manchester Cathedral and that is close to Deansgate,so maybe a service was there before burial as I don't think there were many cremations in 1907.
