I just searched for one of the children.....

Rac*....no surname....birth place Rochdale.....1874 +/- 1...nothing in any other field.

I tried every wildcard variation that I could think of but never crossed my mind to precede it with an H.

I hope they got divorced but I wouldn't be surprised.

Is there anyone with subs to FMP who could have a quick look for me please.
I'ts only the 1881 cencus that I can't find Alice.

Alice is alive and kicking in the 1991 cencus with another daughter Violet Ann Anderson born in 1882

He's on Ancestry in 1881 and Familysearch.org. Have another look. He's born c1839.

Could someone please help me find James Anderson born 1838 in Rochdale Lancashire I think he will be living with Emma, I have no more info on Emma

Also his previous wife Alice born 1841 in rochdale, children Mary Alice born 1865, Rochdale and James W anderson born c1869 Rochdale.

I only need the 1881 cencus as I can find them both in earlier and later cencus. I have used ancestry by the way.
