long shot but you never know

hi
i have the birth of 3 children born between 1912 and 1920 and all have the same surname and same mothers surname and i am trying to find the marriage of the parents and all i have is the surnames. i know i could send off for one of the birth certs but i cant afford it and wont be able to for some time.
the surnames are
groom - JENNION
bride - ROUGHLEY

I have searched bmd and ancestry for them. i thought if the first child was born 1912 then they may have married say 5 years or so previously so i have checked them unless i have missed them i cant find any marriage between these surnames.
the children were born in st helens lancashire. the marriage could have come under st helens or prescot that is if they married in the same town.
i know this is a long shot but if anyone does come across this marriage i would appreciate it.
i am looking into this family on behalf of a friend so i dont know too much about it.

If that is the correct marriage in 1894, its not impossible that they were having children up to 1920, alice would only have been about 45years old, if the age on the 1901 census is correct.

I can only find this for Wilfred on the 1911 so perhaps he married Mary Jackson?

My grandmother was born 1886. Her oldest sister was born 1861. So yes it is possible to have children at age 45.

A friend of mines mother was 47 and thought she had a tumour because she had a lump.Yes she was pregnant
