Hi Kathryn - I noticed on 'google' another 'Sparshott' enquiry ... also looking for Barbara -they gave her parents' names -one of which I've found to have died in Melbourne:Edward Victor Sparshott d 31/08/1991 age 77. ........The Victoria State Library has an 'Ask a Librarian' sevice (on-line) ...they can check newspaper death notices for family names. ...They could also trace 'Barbara Ann' from electoral rolls (1961+)... up to the year she may have married. ...Valerie (WA)

Hi there,

I am looking to see if a Barbara Ann Sparshott married once she moved to Australia. She was born in 1940 in Surrey, England and moved with ther family to Melbourne, Victoria in 1952 (passenger lists).

Is there any way to see if there is a marriage for her online or do I need to get folks in Archives to look up for me. I have Ancestry but only the UK package - if i had thr World version, would that allow me that sort of detail? Thanks
