hi there,
thanks for that. On the 1911 census, she is missing and i couldt find anything to tie them up. The only child living with them on here is Harry Boothroyd and children born out of the 1901 census. The other child could have moved out at 17/18 and fred would have. Possibly Tom could have died as he is not on the census. If nothing else comes up, then that must be it. It says that Harry is born in Leeds too.
thanks

The only James I can find with the right YOB and POB living in the Leeds area has a wife called Charlotte. Children are Fred 9, Caroline 7, Harry 5 and Tom 1.

Charlotte was born 1872 in Leeds

hi there,
Looking for a family in Leeds James Boothroyd born approx 1865 and from Stockport. Possibly married to a Sarah. Would love to know if her name is Sarah and where she comes from, so that i can solve a skeleton in our cupboard lol. Children at the time could have been harry born 1896. I know we can't ask for the census list to be copied, but a simple name and place of birth would be all i need to confirm what i think i have found on free bmd. Many thanks everyone.
