I have the death certificate of a relative and contacted the cemetery nearest to where the death took place but they couldn't help so was wondering if the Registrar might have this information the death was in 1916

Sorry but the heading doesn't have the full question. What information are you looking for?

The registrar wouldn't have this information.

Have you tried the local church in case he was buried in a churchyard. The records for these burials would either be at the church or at the County Records Office for the area.

The bereavement services department of a local council has been very helpful to me concerning finding burials.

Also, you could try here, in case anyone can help -
