the death certificates should give you a better idea as there are churchyards at eg Broughton another cemetary at Longton which could be classed as N or E Preston

At that date, they could have been buried in a churchyard rather than a cemetery perhaps.

they were actually both Preston or immediate surrounding areas

Have you got the actual certificates?
Preston is the registration district, but presumably covers a wide area.
The death certificate should show a home address and maybe there is another cemetery nearer that address.

I have 2 rellies both died preston,ive emailed the cemertery and they dont have any records of the two im lookinf for,yet a rew others are buried there but not these two.
Can anyone help me as i dont surpose i can just go into the records office not knowing where to look.

The results where found on free bmd.

CHARLES LUVATE DIED 1917 AGED 51 8e 781

CATHERINE LUVATE DIED 1920 AGED 76 8e 651.

both say Preston.
any help would be greatful...
