	does this mean the same i have on cert husband was Ship master,is Captain of ship the same thing only theres inventry by his name but its 5 pound to look at the pages so want to make sure it means the same thing,its got Captain of steam ship Normany,thank yoy for any help given Dutch

	I would say that Ship's Master and Ship's Captain were the same thing. Kath. x
