all the information is that it is much better to get a subscription on either ancestry or findmypast. Most people seem to prefer ancestry as their first choice.


Both of these sites have far more records available than does GR


GR does not actually carry official records such as censuses .... they direct you to other sites. And, they do not carry the 1881 census ....... because it is available for free on other sites.
