Hi , My G/grandfather Ellis Sterry owned 2 shops in the early 1900s .101 Brightfield Rd Lewisham/Lee SE13 .Grocery Store
The other was in Delacourt or Old Dover Rd Blackheath .Oil shop.
Also possible East Street Walwoth SE17 Grocery. Still trading in 1965.
He retired in 1901 census and I believe a cousin took on the bussiness. It would be great to find out who .
He had 8 daughters so no son to carry on buss..
Any help would be appreciated .Have tried London Directories.
Thanks Tony.
