	Loads of people on here have parish records or access to parish records which go back further than 1688............a place and a name would help us to help you! Derek

Member Since: August 2005 Posts: 169 Send Message	HI Pauline, It will probably mean moving away from your computer and doing some leg work. ie visiting the family history library local to where your ancetors were from, where you will be able to consult parish registers, etc.

	Hi just wonderd if anyone had any ideas on how to go further back than 1688, I think I've done okay to get that far back but now I feel like I've met a brick wall. Pauline
