Contacting Hot Matches

I'm relatively new to this site, and wondered if more experienced members might be able to help? I'm in the frustrating position of having 2 very 'Hot matches' whom I am sure are part of my Tree. Despite messaging the 2 owners I have had no reply-it may be that with the time lapse they no longer are actively seeking. I wonder if anyone might have some suggestions of how I might be able to wiggle around/through this obstacle?
Regards
Sandra

You could have a look to see if they have read your PM

Go into sent messages and see if the envelope is Purple & closed or Green & open

As suggested the messages are closed-oh well never mind! Many thanks anyway....
