Hi Tom,

Here's another vote for Family Tree Maker, but like Ozi it's the only one I've ever used. Mine is the 2008 version, so not the latest.

However, I can't think of anything it doesn't do! You can add photos, build trees in different formats, make links with other users, and you can even compile a book about one or more family members.

It's easy to use and edit.

Good luck, whichever one you choose.

I use Family Tree Maker as well and am more than happy with it. I have also used Legacy in the past (you can download a free version) and this was also good.

I like Family Tree Maker but I haven't used anything else & I don't have the latest version.

It's easy to set up, easy to correct mistakes, gives plenty of space for notes, attaches images & has a variety of reports.

Ozi.

By the way, Family Tree Maker is the name of just one genealogy program.

Hi, CAN ANY ONE OUT THERE HELP ME CHOOSE A GOOD FAMILY TREE MAKER PROGRAME, THATS EASY TO USE AND UNDERSTAND,,,SO THAT I CAN IMPORT MY FAMILY TREE ONTO IT. I HAVE TRIED LOOKING AT DIFFERENT ONES, BUT THEY ALL SAY THEY ARE THE BEST, SO NOW I THOUGHT I WOULD ASKTHE PEOPLE WHO USE THEM FOR HELP.
