Hi Blossom

I have all mine in WH Smith wallets, £1.99 for 100 I think. But I am told they are only suitable for short-term storage (short-term is not definied) and you should really use "archival quality" at about 10 times the price.

You might like to consider the chances of detioration and the cost of buying new certificates.

The WH Smith ones, being portrait, do not fit into any of the binders offered by the various organisations.

This is the link to the WH Smith site. Specifically the Acid Free pockets. This is for £11.74 for 500, but they do smaller quantities in-store.

You'll see it mentions Acid Free above the barcode

I have now decided that I really must knuckle down and sort out my family tree properly. At the moment all my information takes up a whole windowsill in hubby's offfice and is threatening to fall onto the floor.

I realise that this info is best stored in acid free wallets, but where is the cheapest place to find them? I enquired in Staples this morning and the girl gave me a completely blank look and didn't know what I was talking about!
