But his names Arthur S in 1861
...and A.Stanley in 1891

So that makes him Arthur Stanley Kemp?

Many thanks for that everyone, The reaseon I am so interested in this guy is that in the 1901 census he is recorded as Auctioneers Clerk....well, my house was the auctioneers office and was turned into a private house in 1978, so Mr. Arthury Stanley Kemp, or A Stanley Kemp as he was recorded in another census, has been in my bedroom, oooooh oooooh. In fact over by the window is a red stain on the floor boards where someone knocked over a bottle of red ink many moons ago.
