Holmes square Rothwell address please

Copy and paste these Lat/Long coordinates into Google Maps:

53.748045, -1.477377

Looks to have been there according to old maps.

I assume you mean Rothwell near Leeds because there are other Rothwells?

Looking at the 1881 census, the neighbouring streets are Chapel St, Commercial St, Dobson Place.

Hi there,
Just wondered if someone can tell me where in Rothwell, Holmes Square was, as on google earth it shows alot of new builds. Have found perseverance terrace, thats still there, but would love to know where it was, as this now means, that both I and my husbands family lived in the same village in the 1870s and we thought that the link was only in Harrogate, but this appeared on the female line.
