Hello Erin,

Patrick is "Kenedy" (later spelt Kennedy) and Mary "Dunne". Their church is the "Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rowe Street, Wexford". I have a copy of the marriage record and baptism of the first three children, provided by the current sacrisant, Joe Kinsella.

Patrick & Mary, with their three children, Laurence, Mary & Patrick, moved to Wales, I first find them in the 1871 UK Census for Aberavon, Wales. though I have found a child, Margaret Ann, that was born to them in 1867 when they were living in another area of Wales. I have varified the information as correct.

I have also found a record, via the internat, at the Yola Farmstead relating to a Patrick Kenedy b 1834 Wexford, that I am hopeful is him. I've just rec'd an email from IFHF to state that the Yola Farmstead is now closed. They advise I check the fiche etc at the national library of Ireland, so it looks as if I will have to undertake a visit sometime.

I have traced my family to Wexford, Patrick & Mary marrying in 1859. I have a copy of their marriage record from the catholic church in Wexford, however it doesn't give any information regarding the parents of the couple. From census records and death records I believe Patrick was born in 1834. However I've now hit a brick wall. The sacrisant at the church has been most helpful and provided all the information he can, I've been in touch with the Irish Registry Office, who's records commence in 1864, (hoping to find records of their three children) with no success. Griffiths Valuation gives me no info at all as Patrick is listed as "VAGUS" on his marriage record, which leads me to belive he was unemployed or a vagrant! My next move is to go over there, but where do I start......... Any tips would be most welcome. thanking you in anticipation.
