You can be cheeky, but I don't know if I can help. You need to buy credits to view the transcription or image. However if I ask for other Bakers in the household with a Francis, these come up.

BAKER GEORGE CHARLES M 1892 19 Pontefract Yorkshire West Riding
BAKER SAMUEL M 1895 16 Pontefract Yorkshire West Riding
BAKER WILLIAM M 1901 10 Pontefract Yorkshire West Riding

If they are with your Frances they would have to be siblings
Can't be certain they are with her though because if I search for a Baker household with George Charles, Frances doesn't come up. If you really can't wait for the cert you'll have to pay to see who she's with.

Is that all as clear as mud?

Sorry that I've been a bit long-winded.

Heres the marriage ref - using that buy the cert for £7 from GRO online.

Marriages Sep 1914
Baker Frances A Wilson Pontefract 9c 271

WILSON Fred Baker Pontefract 9c 271

You will then have her fathers name and occupation and her place of residence and can trace her backwards through census with confidence.

BTW, are you sure about Auntie Lillians date of birth or her name at birth - cant see a Lillian Wilson mother Baker for 1916.

There are these though: and more ......... I am guess Mary Ann may be Lilly?

Death certs are notorious in that the age is only as good as the knowledge of the person giving the info and lets be honest, would your OH know your mother's date of birth :)

The way to go is get the marriage cert first, that will give her fathers name and occupation and her place of residence and hopefully an accurate age for her.

Which husband was your ancestor? The first guy I assume? Get that marriage cert then for his fathers details too.

What about this one.... it is the only Frances A Baker in Yorkshire around that time. Age stated at death is only as good as the informant, so may not be correct....Do you have either of her marriage certs?, her age may be on them. though sometimes they just say of age. or full age......

Can anyone help/advise looking for granmother,s birth cert. I have a telegram of her death which says she died in 1964, aged 64. There is record of her marriages. First marriage to Fred Wilson in 1914, Pontefract, Yorkshire, second marriage to Fred Lund 1939, Pontefract. Do not know where she was born or her father,s or mother,s name. She is known as Frances A Baker before marriage. What baffles me is if she was 64 when she died that would make her as being born 1900 but she married in 1914? and had my auntie Lillian in 1916. Cannot trace her on census.
