Finding a marriage

Could someone tell me a way to find a marriage when I only have the following info. please.
Female: Lyn ??? born circa 1959 Cambridgeshire.
Male: ??? Fisher
Marriage : Cambridgeshire, circa 1980

Is it possible? Thanks.

Hi Lin

You could trawl through the bmds for a Fisher in Cambrideshire and check all the possible wives to see if one is called Lyn. Or try 192 for a Lyn Fisher. If they married after 1984 they might be on the transcribed listings.

But the best bet for info around this time is from living relatives.

Thanks Maggie, I have tried both BMD & 192 but it comes up "No Records Found".

Linda, I don't mean Free bmd, I mean the actual quarterly records on Ancestry or Find My Past.
